Coupled with a Dod YJM or Dod 250 overdrive into a Marshall style amp, this guitar will make you sound instantly almost like Yngwie, now if you can only play like him!

Scalloped fingerboard is weird at first, it is like playing on a guitar with strings really high above the neck. Once you get used to it, it will make you work on your touch, which must be very light: too much pressure and the notes will go sharp ! It is often said that scalloped neck will make you play faster but this is not true, IMHO.

Although the pickups output is really weak (about 73mV), this guitar has balls and a cool vintage vibe and look. I swap the 3-way selector with a 5 ways and you can get traditional out of phase strat tones

* Scalloped neck is not for everyone

* a bit heavy

* A mean guitar, but not only for Malmsteen shredding, think Blackmore, Hendrix, Uli.
