Pedal/Rackmount:
Pedal
Price Paid:
$302 U.S. (E-bay purchase). Regular "New" price is $429 U.S.
Condition:
New
Features:
Audiophile high end pedal that fits between the original Leslie / Fender Vibratone and the Uni-Vibe. Utilizing three JJ Tesla 12AX7s at full power, (this is not a tube pedal that runs at a nominal power to claim tube tone), providing speed and depth controls. Ease of Use:
5 (easy)
Pros:
A perfect fit between the clean "phase" vibrato effect of the Fender Vibratone / Leslie and the Uni-Vibe and later "time based" vibrato / chorus effects. Simple to use, cleaner than clean. Cons:
Because I'm writing this review for the Dinosaur Rock Guitar website I feel obligated to say that this is not a pedal that would find it's way on most Dino pedal boards. It's ultra clean, sublime, and even a bit ethereal in it's voicing. Near perfect for what it's designed for, it's far more useful in the Blues / Jazz spectrum. For Dino tones it provides a beautiful voicing for Robin Trower / David Gilmour "Dark Side Of The Moon" voicings. It handles gain very well, but, might be too sublime for most Dino's. Sound Quality:
5 (excellent)
Reliability:
So far............Excellent. Customer Support:
I haven't needed to contact customer support so I really can't say. |
