Note: The award categories are going to be streamlined for 2010 and beyond.

Each year (through 2009), The Dinosaur Rock Guitar Forum voted for the yearly wards in the following catgeories:

Best Album of the Year
Most Disappointing Album of the Year
DVD of the Year — Generally given to a release of previously unavailable material.
Release of the Year (DVD or CD) Given for, but not limited to, re-releases of previously available material

The Lifeson — for wimping out as a player or artist (or "going soft" on a release) when you could clearly do so much better.

The Mindcrime II (awarded when appropriate) — to an artist for purposely pursuing terrible ideas to inevitably disasterous conclusions.

The Screaming Devil Baby — awarded to an artist for pathetic behavior.
