Dinosaur Rock Links

These are some of our favorite links:

Site Comments
Official Sites: The Good the Bad and the Ugly.
Glenn Hughes

Very well-maintained site. Nice new look to it too. Run by one of Glenn's biggest fans who gets frequent news updates straight from the source. Discography, sound clips, forum.

Tony Iommi Excellent site. Was down for a long time, but is back now. Interviews, lessons, detailed equipment rundown.
John Sykes

Not a lot there yet, but what's there is good

Ritchie Blackmore

Fairly lame. Pretty much JUST a Blackmore's Night site.

Gary Moore

Good stuff here, but it isn't updated very often.

Wolf Hoffmann

Wolf's a full-time photographer now and wolfhoffmann.com now reflects that. The Accept stuff is in this historical archive (not updated since 1999).

John Norum Under reconstruction. There's some stuff, but kind of hard to get around now.
Joe Satriani I don't like the layout of this site.
Dave Meniketti Another one of my favorite players. Mostly a sales site, but now incudes a forum where Meniketti is a moderator and occasionally posts.
Doug Aldrich Still under construction, but some good stuff here. Killer player -- check him out.
Tracy G Website for ex-Dio, ex-WWIII, and current Driven guitarist.
John Petrucci Contains a forum and all the requisite info. Needs java enabled.
Uli Jon Roth Quite good for an offical site.
Zakk Wylde Has everything a guitarist's site should have, and more. Revised regularly.
Tribe of Gypsies (Roy Z). Minimal content on Roy.
Tommy Bolin The Bolin Archives people are a an efficient, well-oiled machine. Amazing how a dead guy can be a whole cottage industry.
Jake E. Lee Good site on a great player who hasn't done nearly enough in the last 20 years.
Mr Scary - The George Lynch Home page Recently redone. Looks much better to me.
Deep Purple Excellent site.
Black Sabbath Sony-run site. Doesn't look like it's been touched in ages. I like the unofficial one below better.
Judas Priest Good-looking official site.
Queensryche The new official site.
Dream Theatre Looks pretty good, though I haven't spent a lot of time here.
Ronnie James Dio News, tour Info. Pretty much what you'd expect from an official site.
David Coverdale I see sales, some news, bio discography.
Bruce Dickinson The basic stuff, plus links to fan sites.
James Byrd Symphonic Metal Official site run by our own "Neo Classical Madman."
Velocity Not touched in years.

Unofficial Sites Often, these are better
UFO & MSG site Good info, but I don't much care for the site design.
Steve Lukather Nice site, however, the webmaster ignored my request Luke's contact info when I wanted an interview, then he reproduced my interview without permission.
Led Zeppelin links page There are so many Zep related sites I couldn't begin to single one out as "best." This one is a link to lots of others.
Black Sabbath My favorite Sab site.
Deep Purple Appreciation Society News about the old DP marks is here.
Those were the Days Excellent Cream site
Cream Very cool Cream site
Tapio's Ronnnie James Dio Pages A bit more stuff that the official site: lyrics, pictures, discography, etc.
The Iron Maiden Commentary Big site with resoruces to all-things Maiden.
Black Label Society Nice looking BLS site that has a lot of cool content.
Yngwie Malmsteen.net Unofficial site run by our own "Super Avianti."
Tim Donahue - Master of the Fretless Guitar Official site run by our own "Super Avianti."
Brian May World Good site on the guitar king of Queen.
Nuge Commando Europe An Ted Nugent site in Germay (in English).
The Day the Music Died. The Randy Rhoads Webpage Fan site with some interesting content.
Team Riverdogs Very stale fan site of the great, but short-lived band containing Rob Lamothe and Vivian Campbell.
Gillan the Hero Tribute site to Black Sabbath's Born Again album and tour
