Engl Fireball 25
Re: Engl Fireball 25
I must admit the Artist Edition looks very interesting.
The problem I had with Engl is I perceived a volume drop when switching from clean to crunch (I think it was a Thunder or a Screamer about 20 years ago) so I haven't tried them since.
But now, who knows...

Did they have separate volume controls for clean and crunch?Dr wrote:Sat Jan 03, 1970 9:43 pm I must admit the Artist Edition looks very interesting.

No it was a shared volume, that was the problem.

Re: Engl Fireball 25
Had that issue the first 5150 I had, the clean and crunch was a shared channel, then a few years later I bought a different one and they added a 2 in 1 knob for the volume. Such a simple and stupid fix, they act as if this feature never existed before

It doesn't line up? That's disappointing.
It's not a restring until I'm bleeding.

No they line up lol, the cab is bigger than the space I had for it… I literally just fixed the placement of the head too. The space is too small to have the amps side by side. The Engl is a beast though, the V30 speakers in the cab make a big difference compared the Greenback in the combo it was connected to.
