A dude I know locally posted about this on his FB and was bitching about it, saying he should stop with his solo album crap and focus on Maiden only.

Had I been in front of him when he said that I would have slapped his face.

Nothing Maiden has released in at least 25 years compares to solo Bruce. Some people are just morons.

Absolutely that.  What the idiot also doesn't account for is that maybe the IM guys need the occasional break from touring.

In the meantime, expecting Bruce to do nothing in his spare time shows he knows nothing about Bruce.

Exactly. But this is the same guy who bitched about Gillan not singing Child in Time anymore. My words would be lost trying to explain something so apparently confusing as aging on such a brain (and by the way, this guy thinks of himself as some sort of brilliant, know-it-all metal music genius. Go figure.)

I was just saying to a friend today, take the last 3 Bruce solo albums and there isn't a Maiden album since 2000 that hits that level (probably 1988 if I'm being honest). I seldom look forward to new albums that much anymore, but this one I'm really excited about.
