Kind of felt like this was coming -- back when the LP went up for auction.
Sad.

Re: R.I.P. Bernie Marsden
I saw him about 15 years ago at a Dallas guitar show, doing the all-star jam night on the PRS stage. His playing then was still incredible, such a fat tone he had. I read his Where's My Guitar? book a couple years ago, and he came across as a warm, witty individual. RIP

What a shame. Rip bernie. Only saw him live once w Alaska, knebworth 1985, bottom of bill supporting Deep P, w ironically Don Aires on keys. There's so much Bernie music i find memorable, Look at me now, young blood.....the amazing solos in blindman, don't break my heart again, mistreated and walking in the shadow of the blues from the WS live album to name but a few.
