I stick to my 80's Marshall 4x12 with no branded cones. Someones said Years Ago they're celestion.
who knows but the cabinet sounds fantastic.
i used to have a couple carvin 4x12s. late 80s/early 90s vintage, front loaded, weighed a ton, probably mdf or particle board, who knows? no clue what speakers were in them, other than that the cones had the small dustcaps, which does tend to rule out lead 80s, 65s or 75s. i didnt mess with them really, except to curse at them when dealing with staircases. they sounded fantastic!
