Roger Waters - The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking

Post: # 248301Post iplayLouD

A boomer friend turned me on to this album a little while ago and I think if you don’t know it/haven’t listened to it in a while, this is somewhat of a gem. It also contains Clapton doing his best Gilmour impression for the entire 42 minutes! Wonder how Roger talked him into it…

IMO, Roger's third album "Amused to Death" is even better. It's Jeff Beck instead of Clapton on that one. I usually don't care much more about Beck than about Clapton, but on that album his playing style really works (maybe because he goes into Gilmour territory too). In any case, it's well worth checking out if you liked "The Pros and Cons...".
