I heard there are no interviews with Ace or Peter on that, which I find very questionable. I will probably check it out anyway. I always did like Ace's perspective on their history. I like how he calls out Gene and Paul on certain things but he also always gives them credit where credit is due. He also is never afraid to call himself out. He sort has that attitude like "it was what it was and....whaddaya gonna do?" Also it's rare that you get much perspective from Peter. Paul sort of painted Peter out to be a knucklehead in his book.

Yes, there is a very visible disclaimer stating that these are the opinions of Paul and Gene and that they aren't endorsed by Ace and Peter. Knowing that going in takes away nothing. I think Paul and Gene were very gracious to Ace and Peter.

As time goes, my love and respect for KISS, Gene and Peter grows.

They're running a 50 year bussiness. Running it on many levels. Composing, playing, singing; studio and live. Interviews, etc.

Hiring people to write and play, because they know it's a big work, and a smart boss knows that he need good worker for the job.


They make a big million $$$ taking jobs for many people, and that's no easy. They're not a simple rock band.


In the musical side, I love more and more the classic hits, the metal albums, etc. They're a mix of the Beatless, Rolling Stones, some Led Zeppeling...



I love them and they have things to say. I'll try that doco.

I do have way more respect for KISS now than I did in my youth as well. I have some friends that have always been gaga over them. Downright fanboys. I never gave them the time of the day myself, but I enjoy listening to their classic material a lot nowadays.
