Great stuff. I just went thru it and your take on Still I am Sad as well.
Your recording got me thinking... Burn and Black Night are two songs I think I can sorta play, but listening to your takes, well. I can't help but notice how different we as players might approach the same material. I noticed you use more gain than Ritchie would probably use, and more than I would in these particular tracks. Yet you sound way closer to RB than I ever could. You got the Blackmoreisms down, while me on the other hand, sound like an average 80's metal player (and a bad one, at that) playing those songs.
I enjoyed that. Keep up the great work and post more stuff if you can.

Hi, thanks for listening and comments. Yeah, I'm a bit of a gain hound! At low volumes only way to get notes to sing and sustain as far as I can see?

I understand. I am all over the place myself, but I tend to use less gain as I get older. Just the other day I was thinking on putting something less hot on my fat strat, or maybe even get a new pickguard with all singles (noise cancelling of course.)
