Howdy folks!
First off I want to thank DinoDave for letting me join Dinosaur Rock Guitar - thnx man
I found this site about 6mo. ago while looking for some info on Uli and quickly realized this place was much more than just a 'guitar-head' website - it is the only place I've found that recognizes & values an approach to guitar that's seems almost like a lost art these days.
A bit about myself:
Im in my mid 40s and have been playing guitar since I was kid, but didnt take it seriously till I became a teenager. Most of the styles I listened to in high school were the NWOBHM bands and the rest of the euro scene, early Scorpions, Gary Moore, etc. Around 85 I thought shredding was the ultimate style to have, but that has changed with time. I really appreciate players whos tone & feel is as important, if not more than technique these days.
Anyway, glad to be apart of this great community & looking forward to contributing
