Lick of the Day

I keep seeing videos of members on this forum play and am consistently blown away. I think it would be awsome if we could organize a lick of the day thread. Anyone with a webcam and a cool riff, or technique could post one up. Just play once at normal speed and once slow, then tab it out. I know I'd love it, and I think it would greatly help out a lot of younger dinos. What do you guys think?

Great idea!! Most of the players here have good taste and are monsters on the guitar which isn´t the case everywhere on the web where you find that type of stuff...

I'd be a big fan, but I suspect that life being what it is after initial enthusiasm it'd end up as "Lick of the month"...

This is a cool idea. I have a webcam and know how to use divshare... I don't have the skills or knowledge like the rest of you guys, but I'd love to share a lick or two.

Where did the name "lick" come from? Is from that it has the same effect of a man licking a wo-man in a certain area and just makes them wet.

But maybe some tabs would be nice... ok I can make this up, or I did in a few seconds (I know it too) but if it becomes more stuff like solos some tabs or a slow down version would be nice...

The tab isn't exactly what is played on the video, but that should be enough for you to get the idea behind:

Note 1: The end is totally improvised and not tabbed here.

Note 2: There are a few guitar teachers in this forum that should do better than me and play this like Gary Moore.
