Spark NEO - better than Boss Waza Air at half the price

I have zero experience with the Spark platform. Do you have to buy the cool amps or effects like with other apps?


 

You just buy the hardware. The software's free. And it works on ANY Spark product. 
 

 

Oh well now that makes it even more appealing. I am getting really interested in this.

If you want to crank up your guitar and blast away without disturbing the family, this lets you do it. They won't hear you, and for better or worse, you really won't hear them. 

Plus you can jam along with songs. PLUS it will create backing tracks for you and all the other Spark goodies. 

Right now, Spark's business model is PRACTICE amps. However, if Spark creates a hardware pedalboard for gigging that combines their phone-based software amps and effects with a Blug-like nanotube poweramp in multiple wattage flavors, that can output to your own real cabs/PA/IRs or whatever for gigging, they'll own the market. At least until the next technological advance happens.
