Any fans on DRG?  I loved him on the 2010s Tygers of Pan Tang records

Not so sad like the Anvil doco is.

That's cool -- and funny. He seems happy enough.

If the Tygers' other guitarist was pushing the drink cart on the train, people would definitely believe he was once a rock star.

I'm a bit confused..... I recognize this guy in the train video, he's older now & was the original guy from back in the day, the dude with the mustache? I've looked the band up, but couldn't find any Micky Ceystal....but in way latter days there's a Michael "Micky" Crystal ....but he looks younger & not at all like the bloke in the train video.....who I assume is the original old school aforementioned guitarist....?

the dude in the video is Robb Weir.  the only remaing member from their 80s heyday, to my knowledge. Micky was their lead player on the Ritual album, which Ilike better than even the Sykes records.  chops to burn, and more importantly, TASTY.

I got confused by the posted vid I guess..... & yeah that Robb Weir guy seems cool, he always stood out in the early NWOBHM photos I'd see growing up, just looked like an enthusiastic headbanger. But this Micky Crystal guy seems worthwhile to check out.Maybe we haven't talked about it much here, but those NWOBHM guys were all pretty Dino.....

Ok, super weird coincidence here.....

Still searching for the perfect PUPs for my Strat, I stumbled across a Bareknuckle demo vid, their Cobra Strat pickups....& none other than Mickey Crystal does the demo, & (gulp....) this guy is an absolute badass. You really nailed it with this guy, bourbonsamurai. Yikes this guy is good, can play anything. I need to check him out more.

Great call :handgestures-thumbupleft:
