I'm sad to hear this. I have a fondness for the original ABB. I guess Jaimoe is the last survivor.

Bummer, I liked him too. Saw the Allman's about 30+ yrs ago at an outdoor show when they had Warren Haynes in the band, and they were damn good. Their comeback album at the time, Seven Turns, I thought was good also.

I watched some videos last night, some form that era (mid 90s I believe) Greg and Warren were there. Damn good band indeed.

Dickey was unbelievable. A total badass. Listen to his tone and fire here. Great chops too. One of the greats for sure! Great great band, killer guitar players throughout all the years. Ace players.
