Not the most inspired performance. West looks at least half baked, and uninterested -- he's fucking around. But the BALLS he played with are just huge. Corky Laing is one of rocks most underrated drummers of all time.

Is that a Steinberg? Probably the best tone I have ever heard from one of those.

While I have heard better from Les, that was pretty cool. Monster tone, from the moment he played the first note I went "Yeah!" No wonder Mad Mikey liked him so much.

Yeah, he played those for a while. I saw him live in a club in probably the late 80s or early 90s. He was using the S-shaped Steinberger, also with the Trans trem -- which he really seemed to dig.  His tone was monstrous, and he was much better than he is here.

Can we still say Trans Trem? And if so what would the pronoun be?
