Yes real shame. I'd heard a rumour that cancer was involved (he'd had some type of surgery last year) but don't know details, or even if it's accurate.

But saw him around the release of Prime Time and he was just fantastic as a vocalist and front man. Rest of the band were good too, but he stood out. 

RIP
