Superb cover of Whitesnake/Sykes Looking for love

Very inspiring, i thought i knew the basic chords to the verses and intro but seems a lot more going on than I thought.  Aside from the riffs and solos, John was amazingly inventive with his song writing and chord progressions on 1987.

It's on the European version of 1987. Good song, great Sykes solo.

Yeah, it was originally only on the European version of the 1987 album. I am familiar with it because it was on a Greatest Hits CD somebody gifted me at some point. Why they left it out of the American version I will never get, as it is one of the best Coverdale & Sykes collaborations, IMHO. Great solos by Sykes.

Yeah inexplicable.  The US release also started w Crying in the rain rather than SOTN as per everywhere else
