Eric Carmen RIP
For me, the Raspberries was one of those forgotten bands - that is, until 2014 when the Guardians of the Galaxy movie soundtrack included "Go All the Way." Hearing that song after so many years brought back memories of their other hits, and I started listening again. Eric Carmen had a prolific solo career too, and Joan Jett still rocks his Gibson Melody Maker guitar. RIP.

Oh shit, great musician, didn't think he was that old or sick.
At the risk of getting banned I must confess I'm a huge fan of "yatch rock" or "soft rock" stuff and the 70s California sound.

i LOVE LOVE LOVE power pop. RIP to an absolute master. aside, the tape compression on the go all the way drum track is fucking UNHINGED.
