I saw this one advertised on Instagram. A local boutique store was selling it for roughly 2k USD at the current exchange rate, which is pricier than in the USA, but considering that here, the lower-end Gibsons (such as Les Paul Studios) start at that price, Explorers are rare (unless it's an Epiphone), and I don't have a trip to the USA coming up soon (where I can get gear at better prices) I decided to go and get it.
It plays wonderfully, although I might lower the action a tad to suit my taste better, put .009s instead of .010s, and tune down a half-step for playing with the band.

Very cool. How much does it weigh?

To my surprise, it feels incredibly light. I expected such a large slab of wood to be heavier, but it feels much lighter than my Les Paul. I don't have a scale to get the exact weight, but according to this page, the combined weight of all the components is close to 7 lbs (3.1 kg)

I happen to own a white 84 Explorer (identical, same year and all, to the one Hetfield used to play in the early days of Metallica.) and it is surprisingly light. I am pretty sure my poplar super strat and my 80s Charvel are heavier. It is quite surprising because you see a guitar that big and you think that it is gonna be a back breaker, but it is totally the opposite.
