That band is such revolving door. I believe (not really sure though) that the 2nd guitar player is a trust fund millionare who bankrolls the thing and the band is a personal hobby for him. Might be wrong,  just stuff I read online.  I would be doing the same thing.

I think that's true, but it doesn't make the music any less good. I really liked the Higher Ground album, and Tichey usually makes any band he's in better.

Yeah I saw them live in 2017 I think it was. John Corabi and Marco Mendoza were on the lineup. Great show.

Then that's a great band to be in.  Good pay, and you probably don't have to deal with nearly as much industry bullshit.
