I was not familiar with the songs before the show which is rare for me. I went based on the strength of the lineup and the fact that Jeff Scott Soto was the only one I had never seen live. The band is a powerhouse. Jeff is a great front man. The material sounded great live. My biggest gripe, and I guess this is to be expected with a lineup like this, is the solo spots. I thought that was a bit overindulgent. I could have done without that. I've been to so many concerts that the thrill is gone for me on this. The band is worth seeing if they come to your neck of the woods. Maybe check out youtube first and see if the material is up your alley.
