Welcome man! Great to see some fresh blood here :metal:

You sound a lot like me - grown up digging around dad's rock collection

Welcome aboard TheCause.

"(yes I enjoy the occasional 10 seconds of hip-hop)" ..... I'm pretty sure we're still stocking medicine for this disorder in the Dino Apothecary. It's a liquid distilled from the left sandal George Harrison wore during his trek to India back in the '60s.

mr_crowley kind of grew up here. He'd be a great source of advice on everything Dino. His skin tone used to be very Mediterranean prior to some of us old guys introducing him to the music of Johnny Winter. He swears the change just happened but I tend to wonder. :hmm:

Thank you all for helping me feel welcome. I'll have to remember to stop in the Dino Apothecary the next time I'm passing by. Some of my friends need some of that medicine.

The occasional 10 seconds of hip-hop you can enjoy is probably either:

* the guitar lick sampled from Nile Rogers

* the bass lick sampled from Rick James

* everything else sampled from James Brown

Listening to the originals is already a good cure for that disease...
