Re: Gig and PA woes...

Re: Gig and PA woes...

Oh I will!

Got some kit: couple of large front of house speakers, enough mics for a drum kit, guitar and 2 vocals, plus cables and mic stands.
It's foldback and a mixer where I'm short.
I'll find a way.

And so when she suddenly became ill and died from a rare lung infection there was no backup.
And the dog was in a crate, poor thing.

Just so sad.

Gig and PA woes...

Just having a moan. Trying to organise anothe one of those garden gigs my family/friends and I have done annually since Covid. Life being what it is, the guy who's previously lent us the PA (local rich boy who has a full PA in his garage - used to be a soundman before he made it big in IT), has loan...

Re: Viv Campbell undergoes bone marrow transplant

If I've got the condition correctly, it's not something you can cure, just suppress for an indeterminate period of time. Eventually it'll become uncontrolled, sadly, or else the treatment itself will become the problem (trashes your immune system).
Not a good place to be, really feel for him.

Re: John Sykes

Talking of John and the Gary Moore influence, anyone come across this before? John on a Gary Moore tribute album.
