Poll: What is the worst OFFICIAL Judas Priest VIDEO

The song might very well kick ass, but so many of their videos were terrible.  So judge the VIDEO, not the song.  Which is the worst/lamest?

I'm NOT including videos that are essentially performance videos where they just appear to be playing to a live crowd. And for me YGATC is a pretty good video -- probably their best concept video, so I don't think it quite qualifies.

Turbo Lover

Heading out to the Highway

Hot Rockin

Locked In

Night Crawler

The Ripper

Don't Go

Breaking the Law

Some of these fall into the 'so bad its brilliant' category especially Breaking The Law which always raises a chuckle but Don't Go is just plain naff so gets my vote.

Breaking The Law. Hands down. Epically, cringe-inducingly awful.
Being a metal fan in early 80's Britain was tough enough, being despised and ridiculed by popular media as a bunch of infantile and ignorant headbangers. Then JP turned up with that video (and Living After Midnight) , which seemingly confirmed all of these facts, and gave all those smug wankers even more ammo to use against us...

You said "Official" Neither Night Crawler nor the Ripper are such thing. They are fan made stuff with scenes from movies.

As for the others. I don't know. They all have cringe inducing moments, but are they really bad? I think of them as a perfect sample of an era and they showed the message they wanted to show just fine..

Turbo Lover and Locked In are like a mini movie, in the Mad Max fashion. They are silly, but they were supposed to be. I challenge anyone to find something more 80's looking than those.

Hot Rockin's opening is quite a thing to behold, isn't it? but I like the song, and the ending is kinda cool.

It's either Don't Go, which is probably one of my least favorite songs by them ever, but the video isn't bad per se, or Breaking the Law. I am probably gonna go with that one. The cop scenes made me uneasy to show this video to my friends as a kid...

Gotta wonder why people were so surprised when Rob came out. I mean, really?

It's a difficult question, as they're all pure Spinal Tap material.  However, I'll go with "Hot Rockin'". The gym session and the sauna already look ridiculous, but the sequence with things taking fire (including Rob's feet)  is the icing on the cake.

BTW, Rob looks very "agitated" in these videos, I wonder if it was a side effect of cocaine, or what?

Those are all terrible, but I maintain that nothing comes close to these terrible reject World of Warcraft scenes:

Indeed, "reject World of Warcraft scenes" is too kind, it's actually worse than the Warcraft II cinematics from 1995 - no mean feat for a 2008 video

I can't believe that's an official video... worse than the fan made stuff above

Something about these pasty, white, shirtless English boys lifting weights  . . .

Just NOT what I wanna see.

Were people surprised? Maybe abroad it was different but back home in the UK it was pretty well known from way back that he was gay.

I haven't seen any of these videos in ages, odd in this age of you tube... But Breaking the Law, man the scene of Halford breaking out of the prison cell, comical.

Hot Rockin’ is at least trying to be funny. Breaking The Law probably is also to an extent....but it comes across as more cheesy. That one gets my vote...

This is a difficult call for me. I agree with what Osky said about some of these being "so bad it's good."

So like with the video for "Breaking the Law," obviously it's super cringey, but for me that gives it a special charm. It's original, and memorable, in a way that I think makes it better than the slick, generic videos you get now from a band like Deadland Ritual, for instance. It's harder to make fun of a Deadland Ritual video, but my heart goes out to the clueless weirdos in Breaking the Law.

I immediately thought of Hot Rockin' when I saw the title of this thread. That one is cringey as hell but it is also kind of done tongue in cheek and a bit fun, haha!
This goes for all of them, I think they just did a shitload of cocaine and had fun with it  The songs are so good I just can't resist enjoying the videos.

Never seen Locked In before, that was quite enjoyable in my opinion. It actually happens something, lame performance videos from the '80s where everyone pretends to be so tough and cool is just boring, I think.

That piece of shit, War, Seven Moons posted is probably their worst, never seen that, fuck! That is extremely bad! And the music is shitty as well, at least all the old videos got really cool songs! This is just terrible :confounded:
