OK.  Officially we are at the end of a decade 2000-2009.  2010 starts a new decade.  So here we go.

What do you feel are the ten best CDs of this last decade?

What are the best concerts you saw this decade (max 10)?

What are the best music Videos (VHS)/DVDs of this decade that you purchased?

I am thinking about this and will post later, but let us know.

Never mistake a clear view for a short distance.

I liked the CD but the concert was unreal.  One of the best I have ever seen.  It is hard to describe how good these guys were live.  The CD is no indication as to how good they are.  Most folks that I know who saw them live had the same feeling.

  • I don't go that much to concerts. Gotta say Whitesnake was the most impressive out of the ones I saw. Muse was great too.

As for cd's I'm not sure I could think of 10 great ones this decade, but I've still got some catching up to do when it comes to the first 5 years. Any way a few I really liked...

Paul Gilbert & Freddie Nelson - United States
    Sunstorm - Sunstorm
Rick Springfield - Venus in Overdrive
Glenn Hughes - Music for the Divine
House of Lords - any of the last 3, can't decide

MSG _ In The Midst Of Beauty

    Black Crowes- Lions
Johnny Winter- Second Winter Again, I know it's not been released in the last ten years, but I didn't find it till DRG. So thanks.
Uli John Roth-Transcendental Sky Guitar (He's my new best friend.)

    Concerts:
    UFO
Primus- entered the mosh pit! :metal: Good times! Won't be doing that again anytime soon though. Too aged and too female.
Black Crowes - they did a show between albums in Atlantic City at the Borgata.
    Prince- whoa.
Aerosmith- the show right after 9-11.  Album is called Just Push Play
The Black Crowes with Jimmy Page.-  I don't care what you have to say about. The opportunity to see JP at all was a special moment for me. And The Black Crowes are pretty much a religion for me.

I dunno;  this too hard. I can't keep my dates straight on alums and concerts!

While I have been having trouble choosing just 10cds I would definitely have to have Paisley in there.  The album just kills.
