Hey guys I discovered the Band called DOWN featuring:

guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan, (CORROSION OF CONFORMITY)
drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist),
bassist Rex Brown (ex-PANTERA),
guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR),
and
vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA)

I never listened to Sludge Metal from New Orleans. But last week I saw this Video


And Dudes... it reminds me a LOT of Black Sabbath. because the riffs of these (Power-Of-The-Riff) Bands are so doom and full of GROOVE.
Today I bought all their (3) Records.

What do you think about them?

    I love them. "Bustle In Your Hedgerow" is my favourite, a weird, moody album.
    But you can't go wrong with any of their albums.

    They're all at least good, but the first one was the best by far, and the third, the weakest because of Phil's vocals mainly. There's a rumour floating around about them quitting after this tour - I'd love that. CoC, Crowbar and Eyehategod regular albums? Fuck yeah. Those are some all time great bands in my books.

    Oh man. NO!
    Phil won't quit that band bacause after the Tour in sempember they will head to the studio to record a new album ;)
    Down IV. I know that because they posted that on their site ;) The Material is done. And the record will be released in 2010!
