Me Re-Recording a 20-Year-Old Song

in Video Clips
So I started a little video series going through my re-re-re-re-recording of a song I wrote back in 1999. At one point, I had posted a partially completed version on here. I reworked it considerably since then.
Here's a link to the playlist. I did a video playing parts of the very first demo that I recorded around 1999, one for recording bass, one for rhythm guitar, one for leads, and one where I judge some lead takes.

As far as multi-instruments, I always feel about 120 times better with guitar and bass. Vocals are really the long game, so I appreciate that. Getting used to my voice, what it does, what it doesn't do, and probably most importantly what it shouldn't do has been a decades-long project that's still in the works. The great thing about guitars is that you can spend a couple grand or twist a few knobs and make them sound how you like. With a voice, you're pretty much working with what you got.
