A salvaged idea.

This is my little trip into Trower Power land.
It originally sounded much more open, and all the highs have sort of been sucked out.
There was bit loss during the original recording and the clicking and popping had to be removed using Melodyne.
It saved the track but it really ended up sucking the overall "spaciousness" of the EQ space that the track inhabited.
One rhythm track, one lead track, and a droning Hammond B3 in Kontakt.
One take, no EQ, and no after effects (sans the Melodyne fix), just me in the raw.

It's damaged, but the idea lives on!
Curious to hear any opinions and if it should try to resurrect it.

    Nice, very authentic.
  • I think if you didn't tell people about the issue, they'd never pick up on it.

Sounds very atmospheric and movie-soundtrack like to me.

Well, after at least 10 if not 15 year of membership across multiple forums I sort of consider you all my peers. ;)

    Hmmm..

Gives me the thought to utilize the never used portion of sonar for implementing video to your audio projects.
I have a VS-100 as well so I'm fully capable.
What sort of visual images does it evoke for you?
