What happens when you buy a pickup truck.

"Can you move a dresser for me?"
"I need you to take out the trash to the community dump."
"Let's move my bed and dresser to the new apartment."
"I need you to pick up the lawnmower from the service department."
"Can you take my Marshall stack from my house to my gig?"
Sure, I guess.
Maybe I should charge them, at least for gas.

When I first moved to Fargo for college, I was driving a 1974 F250. I got requests to move peoples stuff all the time. One of the stranger requests came when I was replacing a u-joint. I was laying under the pickup, driveshaft beside me, and this pair of shoes walks up.
"Hey, this is a nice pickup you have here"
"Thanks. It'll be nicer when I'm not laying under it."
"Can I borrow it?"
At that point, I rolled out from underneath to see whose feet these shoes were attached to. Complete and total stranger.
"I can't lend it to you"
"Why not?"
"Driveshaft's laying right there (pointed at the driveshaft) and I have no idea who you are."
"Oh. My name is *Forgot his name* Can you help me move some stuff?"
I had never previously encountered somebody so willing to ask a total stranger so many favors. Finally, we settled on a price, I helped him move a chair, some magazines, and a lamp. Aside from the $20 or so he paid, he wound up lending me his Akai 4-track cassette recorder, which got me started recording. So it ultimately worked out, but it was really odd.

Oh, the interior is exquisite, and all vinyl. I can hose it out if I want to clean it.
Yep, that's a Browns sticker in the window. Brown truck, Browns fan.
